SOBRE O TRABALHO
Imagine a trama de uma rede elástica;
Coloque-se agora debaixo dela com pelo menos mais uma pessoa
(que esteja em Belo Horizonte, São Paulo ou Moscou);
Cada pessoa ocupará um buraco da rede;
Agora mova-se e não deixe seu nó estourar!
Redes Vestíveis é uma performance coletiva baseada numa rede virtual elástica, geolocalizada e graficamente representada nas telas de aparelhos celulares. Duas ou mais pessoas conectam-se a ela e tornam-se novos nós da trama -, que se tensiona por meio de movimentos e deslocamentos físicos em espaços próximos ou distantes.
O corpo que se movimenta dentro da rede virtual incita o movimento dos outros, que caso não se movimentem também, fazem esgarçar e estourar os nós da rede, desconectando o sujeito participador do trabalho.
A informação toma o corpo e o move.
Pretende-se sugerir novas experiências para este corpo espacialmente localizado e em rede, que performa diante do que não vê, mas sente, entre corporal e incorporal.

Each friend will occupy a hole in the net.
Now move, and don’t let your node burst!
Wearable Nets [Redes Vestíveis] is a performance based on a virtual elastic net inspired by Rede de Elástico, 1973, by Lygia Clark.
Through an online and geo-localized application installed in mobile phones, two or more people get connected to a virtual network graphically represented on the phone screen by one elastic net. With each new participation, a new node is added to the weft, tensioned by movements and physical displacements in nearby and distant places.
The body that moves inside the virtual net stimulates the others to move too; if they don’t, the nodes in the network are shred and burst, disconnecting the participating subject from the work.
The information takes over the body, moving it.
It is intended to suggest new experiences for this spatially located body that performs against what it doesn’t see, but, yet, is able to feel, somewhere between corporeal and incorporeal.
